I think there is something really beautiful about details and the endless characters that could occupy space, but this art piece was made to be looked at with "soft eyes." I wanted it to be silicle; where the layers create a thickness and persistence that I believe is more saturated than a detailed piece of art I would have made in the past. This art piece is more a chest of beautiful things that don't sparkle but sing to me.
